The Year is 2012. The Invasion date is looming, the X-Files is closed, and Mulder and Scully are still on the run. However back in DC, things are growing more hectic. Skinner was caught and found guilty of Mulder’s breakout, causing him to face his own sentence. Monica Reyes and John Doggett continue their search for the agents, while attempting to re-open the X-Files and stop the invasion themselves. However, what they discovered was out of their power. The Syndicate has been revived, filled with familiar foes, and new ones. However, now they know the location of William and it’s up to Reyes and Doggett to seek out Mulder and Scully and ban together to stop them once again.
However, Mulder and Scully return from their hidaway, and return to DC once they discover Reyes and Doggett’s frantic attempts to get their attention. Reunited with their allies, they retrieve Skinner and attempt to throw down the Syndicate and set up their own Resistance. But they got more than they bargained for.
A new race of Super Soldiers emerge. Those that have not only incredible strength and invulnerability, but the power to drain the energy and life of their victims. Now they have been sent to go after William, with the aid of non other than Alex Krycek and CSM. No-one knows how they escaped their fates, but now they are back and with a vengeance and proceed with their mission.
Will the invasion be stopped in time? It could happen at anytime. But, whos side will you band with for this final battle?
