Forum Suggestion?

So I've had this on most other forums that I've been a part of, but I was wondering if it'd be cool to have a letters subforum? Letters are a quick/easy way to progress plots without having to have an entire thread for everything. Plus they're good for getting creative juices flowing and such!

I figured I would see if it was something people are interested in/ something that is feasible!

I think it is a wonderful idea, and it will sure speed up some plots and such. It would also explain why members of distant realms find out about the intern situations of other races.

Posting in this again 4 years later (weird)

On the HP site I run we have what we call a "sandbox" forum. It's essentially where you can post a lot of odds and ends/inspiration for your character. Some people make a lot of moodboards, some post songs/make character playlists, etc. Basically, it's a fun way to keep yourself inspired and flesh out your character a bit more if you want to.

Examples: ONE, TWO, THREE
(All of those are from my characters, so it's just how I've been using the feature. Other people use it to flesh out pasts, post sketches, anything really)

I thought this could be a useful tool to add to Destina. It's helpful for getting a stronger/more well-rounded idea of your character, but also lets people get a better grasp of them, too? Anyway, yeah. It's just a fun character development thing!

I LOVE this idea... it could also be a place to store gifs and images for the characters which represent their current feelings!! I really like this.

It also gives a modern twist to the medieval setting. Very cool.

I'll talk to Ava and Neith to plan a way to set this up.
But what do you think, Brigid? Should this "sandbox" be located in the character extras, or the "random chatter" board, or in a board all of it's own?

I think character extras would work fine? It could also easily have it's own, but it doesn't need to by any means. Usually when I see that sort of idea used there is a sandbox subforum, and people can just make a thread for their character and post in that thread. There are lots of ways to execute it though, depending on what works best with the site structure!
