Background: Fᶒn was found outside of a Seeker Temple in Lenneckor at the age of eight. She had neither recollection of how she had arrived there, nor any memories on her life before arrival besides her name. The priestess Yulan kindly took her in and raised her. Her life in the Temple was relatively peaceful and happy, even though Fᶒn was curious of her real past.
There was only one thing about Fᶒn that disturbed her and the other Temple attendents: some nights Fᶒn would wake up and find that she had been sleepwalking in the forest. They tried to lock her bedroom door but to no avail, somehow she always found a way out. This was especially problematic depending on how long she had been walking. Eventually, she learned the entire surrounding forest area just by having to walk back to the Temple so often. For the first few months her sleepwalking was manageable, but soon she began to hear a soft voice calling her name in the dreams she would have and she found it more and more difficult to wake up.
She talked to Yulan about her dreams. Yulan grew suspicious of them and decided it was time to put an end to the mystery. The priestess urged Fᶒn to try and stay asleep the entire time so that she could follow her. Fᶒn was scared but she knew she had to do it. That night, sure enough, Fᶒn rose from her bed and walked out of the Temple, this time with Yulan following her discreetly and silently. Fᶒn walked into a clearing where there were other children playing and dancing in the moonlight. Something wasn’t right, though, the children seemed to be under some sort of spell.
All of a sudden, a beautiful Echa appeared before the children. She hugged them all and whispered sweet things to them. When she saw Fᶒn, she became overjoyed and began to run towards her. Yulan came out of hiding and grabbed Fᶒn, waking her. The Echa became enraged and tried to attack Yulan but Fᶒn begged her to stop. When the Echa calmed down, she explained that she had lost her own child before he had even turned two. To cope, she began kidnapping children from their parents in the night, enchanting them to run away from home. The spell inadvertently erased the children’s memories of their past lives.
With kind words, Fᶒn convinced the Echa to release the children and find them homes. The Echa brushed away a tear, hugged Fᶒn one last time, and guided the rest of the children away.
Fᶒn grew into adulthood, attending the Temple and worshipping the Divine Light. Once she turned twenty, she decided she should start her own life and travel the world, seeking out her real past.
Personality: Fᶒn lives up to the idea that Lennecks are too trustworthy. She believes that everyone has good in them and deserve more than one chance. Fᶒn is incredibly kind and treats every living thing with respect. Due to her upbringing, Fᶒn is very religious and believes in the Divine Light with a strong faith.
Because of her encounter in childhood, she is nervous around any Echa folk but will never outright shun them. Fᶒn also does not like magic very much, it seems unnatural to her even though she realizes it is all part of the Divine Light’s creation. She also is a very light sleeper and can only sleep in locked rooms or places that are not easily penetrated.
In encountering others Fᶒn is very open and friendly. She is extremely bubbly and social, blossoming off the energy that people give. Fᶒn is nearly incapable of lying but also has the fault of being brutally honest, even when she doesn’t mean to be.
Strengths: Other than her Nature Dominion, Fᶒn is also very good at healing. She learned from one of the priestesses in the Temple and has honed her skills since then. She carries around healing herbs and medicines. She hopes to someday open her own Apothecary clinic.
Weaknesses: Fᶒn won’t show it to any one that doesn’t know her very well, but she is extremely sensitive about not knowing her past. She cries about it often when she is alone, she even has nightmares about it. She does truly want to find out about her history, but she finds that she is also scared.
