So me and Ronoh have been kicking around a idea we wanted everyone's advice and help on.
So before we go on yes there will probably be enough holes in this idea to fit a bus in but nothing nothing ventured nothing gained right so here goes.
We wanted a site wide thread that might go on along side the on going threads. Its kinda like in D&D where you make a party. All the chars on the site meet up someone and are forced to put aside al differences to travel and work togther because of a outside threat, like dragons or a orc army or somethine else. then after wards everyone goes there seperate ways
well thts about it so far, any ideas?

I think this idea is great. When I read your post, I suddenly thought of L.O.T.R, with the fellowship and all. It’s an interesting concept, one we can develop further and really make it happen. Many members would join, I’m sure of it.
For now, we have to come up with a threat/enemy to start building the plot upon that, and then decide the members of this society of travellers, so to speak. It would be really nice if we had at least one member of each race.
I’m looking forward to reading suggestions and comments about this. When we’ve got the plot set and all, I might make an auditioning thread or something along those lines, that will serve as the recruiting entity.
Thanks for your brilliant idea! Let’s get to work, people!

Umm.. I've got some suggestions for this "threat"
- Evil Dragon, lol
- Red Hand of Doom, we already have that evil threat.. but maybe it is better to just leave it as a subplot?
- Evil Dictator, Neithan could help us with this?
- New source of magic found, a new type of magic, more pwerful than the others, is discovered.
- Voyage to Enidwëith, the Sunken City
This is the description of the realm: An ancient city lies at the bottom of the Genko river. Long ago, during the olden times, a city was built on top of the river. It is said, however, that nature prevailed, and the city sank into the waters. The ruins rest underwater, and neverending treasures lie within it. Something could be made off that, I believe. [/li][/ul] These are just suggestions! If you like them, we could develop them further. Or simply suggest more!![/blockquote]

A threat (dragon, creature, etc) in Enidwëith??
hmm...
that could turn out as some kind of "journey to the center of the earth"...

I personally like the idea of a dictator rising. You know, trying to gain control over all of the ethers. It's the classic world domination theme from my beloved comic books *is a dork* I also really like the whole threat in Enidwëith deal. Depending on how it's developed.

An L.O.T.R. styled quest would be so much fun! And a great rp opportunity! The journey to the sunken city sounds really interesting,,,

I love the dictator idea. Only he has to be building his forces to take over IN the sunken city. (supposedly) XD i love it.

The only problem is, Neithan is not exactly available 24/7. He's having some personal problems, and he might be busy for the next couple of weeks. So, if Neithan is this dictator, we've got to sum up our patience, and wait 'till he comes online. That might affect the excitement of the plot.
However, he might not be this dictator. We could pick someone else, and that won't be difficult seeing we've got many canons taken.
The plot could also be about a rebel that wants to take over some realm, and people defend that royal family aka. the Nova's (seeing as everyone pretty much loves Ava and Corqian and Celeste).

Well, it doesn't hafta be Neithan! I say we make it someone totally unexpected, like a lord or a lady, or even a peasant who's not happy with the government. lol, my charrie's mother would be ideal for that, but she doesn't exist yet... oh well, we should find someone unexpected anyway. I think it'd be cool if we had the rebel dictator in the sunken city, but maybe he wants to start with taking over the Novas and then continue from there. So we'd still be going to overthrow them, but the Novas would be in the most danger while we do it. I dunno, maybe that's not a good idea, but i like all the stuff we came up with so i wanted to combine it.

Wow, I never thought our idea was going to be this popular when i was thumbing it over with Lemarx. It's cool to see how something goes from us two playing magic the gathering togther, to saying how it would be cool to have more than one person RP to a quest where everyone is interested.
Thanks for all your advice so far, i must say the idea about the sunken city sounds very cool, would have never thought of that, and the idea of a dictator is also cool
