The Word Of Your Body
Germany- Spring, 1891
It's like something started inside of me. Something deep within my soul stirred the moment that I laid eyes on you and truly saw you. No more pretenses...Just you and the gentle curves of your blooming body. I see you in my fantasies, haunting me, driving me insane...slowly. My longing for you torments me like a dream from which I can't wake.
Who Can Say What Dreams Are?
As the day-laborers begin to plow the lower hay fields and the stars sing of the brilliance of spring returning, school has started back up as the short holidays come to an end. Now, enter a world where childhood games are cut short at a young age, boys and girls attend separate schools, corporal punishment is accepted, and any talk of sex is taboo.
Who Can Say What We Are?
The students are unaware of the true ways of the world. There are those who would try and take a stand against the parentocracy- denying everything and questioning the world. There are others who can't handle the pressure; who can't handle the depression caused from the 'The Great Unknown,' and seek to end all the sadness in their lives. And there are other still who remain silent and yet are not content in the way thing are and who will remain silent no longer.
Our Bodies Are The Guilty Ones
Sin. That is all the elders see. From the pastor in his church, to the professor at his podium, and down to every last parent. They are unable to see past shame; to realize that humans cannot get past that which they are initially programmed. Their refusal to disclose the secrets of life only causes more confusion and indeed, the fact that they kept secret is what causes repression and a feeling of discomfort in the very skin of those poor children.
You're Gonna Be Wounded
What then will you choose? Will you decide to give in to that nature which burns within our very loins? As I look at you I see not the little girl with whom I used to play pirates. I see a woman and I know then what I would choose. I can hear your heart beating as you whisper those
Hymns Upon Your Lips
And So We Begin

Song lyrics are from Spring Awakening
