The King was dead and Camelot had fallen in a long and bloody battle. Many had died that day but not once did the Knights of Camelot give up.
Nimueh looked at the Prince, her eyes narrowing as a sneer pulled at her stained lips. Above her head lightning flashed, thunder causing the ground to rumble. In the dirt at her feet lay the muddied body of a young warlock, his arm twitching from the spell she'd cast. Arthur stepped forward yelling curses he'd only ever heard Merlin yell. With a flick of her wrist and the whisper of a long forgotten language, the sorceress sent the young Pendragon flying across the ruins of the once great kingdom of Camelot.
Arthur's eyes opened to meet hers, his manservant standing with a painful wince behind her, his hand raised. Eyes flashed gold. Old Welsh fell from cracked and bloody lips.
With Nimueh's dying breath, she spat out a curse.
The Prince ran for his Warlock before the roots of long dead trees burst from the Earth and dragged them down into an eternal sleep.
Bella had made her choice - she'd chosen Jacob Black.
The Cullen's had followed a heartbroken Edward from their home in Forks to England were no-one knew them. Bella had stayed behind, deciding her baby should be raised thinking Jacob was it's father. It didn't take long for the young Cullen to start the local high school where he'd been platonically attracted to the young Emrys because of his ancient magic.
He couldn't approach the boy for several reasons; aside from wanting to taste that potent blood, the young Van Helsing was always around. his sister Alice had managed to befriend Merlin, telling her family he was, as believed, very powerful.
But he was fighting for the wrong side.
The half life’s were uprising. Rupert had heard talk of someone who could help them, Mina had seen his face but was too scared to talk about it. Mina knew the boy, she'd never let on but she did. After he'd arrived in London two months previous, she'd approached him a few times to ask his help for young Luke.
The legends said that one day the Warlock and his Prince would awake and stop the creatures they'd once smited as youngsters.
Their story lives on, spoken on the wind and taught in classrooms as the greatest legend of all time. Movies and Books were made and written but they all envisioned Merlin as an old man.
Only the young vampiress knew the truth.
It's time for the smiters to team up with the newly reborn Merlin Emrys and Arthur Pendragon, two teens from completely different backgrounds who've never met in this life. Merlin lives with his mother in a two bedroom flat in East London where Arthur lives on the Pendragon estate with his father, Prime Minister Uther Pendragon.
