 Die Famous Records is a major record label located in the heart of Los Angeles California. It is owned and co-run by Josh Barren & Anecia Zovokyzsi. The label was started back in 1994 when Barren sparked the idea for the label after his own bank, Heartbreak Denial disbanded and all went their separate ways.Josh Decided he would help others in their path to fame. That's how it all started. Josh Barren went out on his own searching for bands he thought would fit well with his label's style and speed, before he knew it a year had passed and three bands hand been sighed and put out on tour. Thorough the year a lot had changed, with the addition and creation of the yearly THIS DISASTER TOUR which only Record bands play on during the summer after warped tour. Anecia also a former rock star fronting the popular band Nightmare Holiday although didn't become active until 1998 and lasted until about 2002 still quickly became acquainted with Josh, as it was Die Famous records that her band shifted to after they were issues with their previous band manager from their other label. It was when then label hit a slight bit financial trouble that Anecia was immediately there to help Josh out, having just pulled herself out of a rut she was in. She ended up taking mostly earnings from her clothing line and putting it into the company in a sense now co-owning it with although she doesn't really like to think of it like that more just helping out a friend. Josh convinced her to stick around the place where she did a lot work with promoting and organizing tours before she just ended up being promoted to an executive position running the label right next to Josh. Its now been fourteen years since the label was started, and its seen many ups and downs and many bands come through their door. Now though, with bands like As Said Before, Your Hero, My Gun, Secrets and Lies, Time Delay any many others breaking into the scene and becoming some of the most popular bands, Die Famous Records is no where close to Slowing down!
