This section describes the fictitious physical atmosphere of Destina, the planet which will 'house' your characters in this RPG setting.
Year: The year is 2066 BE (Before Endiness).
Location: Destina, a distant planet from our present solar system orbits a sun similar to our own, but more planets exist in the same rotation so many look to the stars.
Planet: Destina is 60% earth and 40% water, with a climate similar to that of earth. However, because it is smaller in size compared to the earth and has a faster turn, there can be freak storms now and again.
Vegetation:
Flora and fauna are all the same with some variations of species and colors.
Terrain is also similar with some exaggerated points. Mountains standing 12,000 feet in the air and deep caves tunneling miles under the earth are some examples. And, of course, don't forget the cities in the sky.
Each realm is a continent, and each kingdom has the size of a small country.
Creatures: Although a few sublife forms are similar, one of the most noticable differences between Destina and earth is the creatures that dwell within it. Destina has exotic wild life and frightful humanoids and others that are still unknown to man.
Technology: Most technology goes from Stone Age to Iron Age, although there are rumors of the Guis and the Nayelien having 'greater inventions'.
Politics: Kingdom, tribal and dictorial in nature. Realms are ruled by the Imperial families. Some people are wonderers having no alignment to anyone.
Religion: Most Destiners believe in The Divine Light, the only religion in Destina, altough not everyone is devout. To read more about the Divine Light, click here.
Money: The official currency in Destina is the Zem (§).
Languages: Everyone that plays in Destina will of course need to speak 'English'. There are other languages that you may come across, like elvish or draconic.
Creatures carry their own language, the chance of a character knowing a creatures language is based on experience. In other words, if a story line permitted you to be in an elven kingdom and their language was teached to you, then of course you would know it, for instance.
